As a Loan Processor at DSCR Pro, you are not a paper pusher. You are a key execution partner, responsible for moving files efficiently from submission to closing while maintaining exceptional accuracy and service.
JOB DEFINITION
The Loan Processor is responsible for managing loan files from initial submission through clear-to-close, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with DSCR Pro guidelines and lender requirements.
This role serves as the operational link between Account Executives, Realtor partners, borrowers, and lenders in a fast-paced, investor-focused environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review new loan submissions for completeness, accuracy, and guideline fit (DSCR / business-purpose loans only).
Organize, analyze, and verify borrower, entity, and property documentation.
Order and manage third-party services including appraisals, title, insurance, and payoff statements.
Actively manage pipeline to keep files moving through underwriting and closing.
Identify missing items or potential issues early and resolve them proactively.
Communicate file status, conditions, and next steps clearly with Account Executives, Realtors, borrowers, and lenders.
Maintain clean, accurate loan files within the LOS and document systems.
Ensure compliance with lender, investor, and regulatory requirements.
Support internal reporting and maintain daily pipeline updates.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 years of mortgage processing experience, preferably with DSCR, Non-QM, or investment property loans.
Strong understanding of loan documentation, underwriting conditions, and closing requirements.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred) — ability to support Spanish-speaking borrowers and partners is a strong advantage.
Proficiency with LOS systems, document management tools, and CRM platforms.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Maintain clean, submission-ready files with minimal defects.
Respond to internal and partner requests within 24 hours or less.
Support 90%+ submission-to-approval ratios through strong upfront file quality.
Contribute to 30-day (or faster) closings when borrower readiness allows.
