As a Senior Loan Processor, you are responsible for owning complex files end-to-end, driving quality, speed, and consistency in a fully remote environment.
JOB DEFINITION
The Senior Loan Processor independently manages high-volume and high-complexity loan files from submission through clear-to-close. This role also serves as a quality anchor within Operations, supporting best practices and mentoring junior processors when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own loan files end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
Review and validate borrower, entity, and property documentation with a strong eye for detail and risk.
Anticipate underwriting conditions and resolve issues proactively prior to submission.
Coordinate appraisals, title, insurance, and third-party services independently.
Maintain control of timelines to support consistent 30-day (or faster) closings.
Act as a trusted operational contact for Account Executives, Realtors, borrowers, and lenders.
Perform quality checks prior to underwriting and clear-to-close.
Support junior processors through guidance, best practices, and problem-solving as needed.

Experience
2–5+ years in a detail-heavy, deadline-driven professional role
Experience in financial services, legal, real estate, or regulated environments is a strong plus
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Manage 25–40 active files, depending on complexity
Maintain 90%+ submission-to-approval ratios
Maintain 85%+ approval-to-closing ratios
Support ≤ 30-day average closing timelines
Deliver 98%+ clear-to-close accuracy
